AP CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday i.e., 6th June 2019 launched a new scheme for the welfare of farmers in AP state and it is named as “Rythu Bharosa” scheme. At the same time he scrapped-off the former CM Chandra Babu Naidu’s old scheme Annadata Sukhibhava scheme which promised of paying Rs. 10,000/- . Rythu Bharosa Scheme Details
Rythu Bharosa is an input subsidy welfare programme which will be implemented from 15th October 2019 instead of the original launch year 2020. That means this scheme will come in to the force at the start of Rabi season of the current year. A total of Rs. 13, 125 crore is allocated for this scheme. Under rythu bharosa subsidy scheme, all farmers including tenant farmers will directly get the benefits of Rs. 12, 500 as an incentive from the allocated budget. Tenant farmers will get the benefits deposited directly in to their bank accounts before seed sowing season.

YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme is one of the nine “Navarathnalu” mentioned in the manifesto of YSR Congress Party. As promised, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the scheme within one week of taking up the power. AP government also taken a decision of paying the premium for the crop insurance scheme to reduce the burden on farmers. Also the officials should ensure that farmers were provided with fertilisers, seeds and other requirements through the village secretariats. This will come in to force from 2nd October.

Features of YSR Rythu Bharosa Scheme
- Under this Scheme, Rs. 12,500/- will be given to the beneficiary farmers family on annual basis.
- The amount will be transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary before sowing season i.e., rabbi, khariff season starts.
- The benefits on Rythu Bharosa scheme will be applicable for the next four years.

- All Farmers including tenant farmers of the Andhra Pradesh state are eligible for this scheme.

How to Apply for Rythu Bharosa Scheme – Online or Offline?
As of now, there is no update that any online or offline application form will be available to apply for this scheme or not.
As the Rythu Bharosa Scheme will be started on October, farmers need to wait till that time to get a clarity on the application process. If there is any registration process, farmers need to be ready with all the required documents mentioned above.
